caro

In April 2015 Caro moved from Dortmund to Bavaria to study Geography at the University of Augsburg. She always wanted to live in the south of Germany so finally her destination became true. Caro immediately has fallen in love with the old town and started to invite friends as she thought they had to see this beautiful city with its old charm. One of her favorite facts about Augsburg is the nearness to the nature. Lots of green parks and the big Siebentisch forest make Augsburg a special town. Also the waterstreams through Augsburg, spending a nice breeze during summer, impressed her. With passion Caro tells her guests what she knows about Augsburg and its history. If she isn’t traveling around, she likes to train people in the park and do sports. Also she loves good food.

Caro's Augsburg tip:Make your way to the Siebentisch forest and enjoy a cold beer at Parkhäusl

merke

Merke has been working for Segway Tour Augsburg since 2013. He is studying history and English to become a teacher. In summer, he loves to meet his friends at the Kuhsee or to play basketball. Merke also likes to travel, especially city trips, where he gets to know all kinds of places and people. Back in Augsburg, he wants to show our guests the sights of this history-charged city.

Merke‘s Augsburg tip:Watch the surfers at the Stadtbad and afterwards enjoy a cool drink at the beer garden of Lilliom cinema

duc

Duc is a native of Augsburg to the core. The foreign language correspondence clerk swoons over Augsburg again and yet again when telling his guests about the unique sights of the city. With Duc’s entertaining manner the guests get to know the most beautiful spots of his favourite city. In his free time Duc likes to do sports and travel the world.

Duc's Augsburg tip:Hire a paddleboat at Augsburg “Kahnfahrt” and after the strain enjoy a chilled beer!

nicole

Nicole has been living in Augsburg since 2004 and even so constantly discovers new facets of this beautiful renaissance city which she loves to show her guests, too. With her cheerful and open nature, a Segway Tour with her becomes a highlight. She works freelance as copywriter, photographer and in the events industry and captivates people with her infectious laugh. To travel and discover the world is one of her passions and if Nicole isn’t on the move, she can be found riding, meeting her friends in a café or reading a good book in the park.

Nicole's Augsburg tip:Visit the museum of Augsburg Puppet Chest and feel like a child again

stephan

Stephan was born in Augsburg and grew up in Ingolstadt. In 1999, he came back to the beautiful Fugger city for his studies and now works free-lance as coach. Stephan loves cooking, hiking in the mountains and walking his dog! Just as much, he likes showing his guests the fascinating culture of Augsburg as well as the pretty green nature in and around the city.

Stephan's Augsburg tip:Discover the history of Fuggerei and afterwards cool off your feet in the brooks of Siebentisch forest

lena

Lena moved to Augsburg for her studies in 2012 and immediately has fallen in love with the culture town. The small shops at the old Stadtmarkt and the narrow alleys are her personal favourites. As a prospective teacher for English and German she doesn’t only like the shopping facilities, but also the stories and sagas, they tell about certain buildings. With a lot of wit and humour she gives her guests diversified and interesting insights in this multifarious city. If Lena isn’t reading a good book, she likes to meet her friends or go jogging in Siebentisch forest.

Lena's Augsburg tip:The Hofgarten with its fragrant flowers and the bookshelf
